Now that I have established the two trees is not a revelation to Mr. Armstrong, the two trees doctrine is a version of inherited sin built on the inherited sin foundation. The two trees are built like a ladder with one idea on top of another idea, which means all the ideas intertwine with each other. All the ideas must stand as proof in the Bible because all the ideas are depending on the other to give an image of the truth. If we take one of these ideas out and disprove it from the Bible, then all the other ideas will fall with this one idea. This local minister did not know what inherited sin is, and I do not know how many go by the depth of this deception in the churches. Inherited sin’s starting point in the very beginning was the belief the Holy Spirit was cut off to mankind. That belief is inherited sin, which turns the Bible into a Protestant grace message. If all are cut off from the Holy Spirit, then God’s plan is set around the idea of grace, and no works.
The two trees teach by grace we are called, and it is by grace someone in the world is blinded, which makes the Protestants correct that we are saved or lost by grace. Now the two trees will say the spiritual punishment is not a hell, but the idea still has the spiritual punishment of being blinded by God in this age by grace and grace alone. If the church believes the Holy Spirit was cut off, then the church believes in a version of inherited sin’s grace. I am going to look at every idea in the two trees doctrine and I am going to disprove them one by one and show all these ideas will fall, not just together but all will fall apart by themselves. First, I want to address this idea of the Holy Spirit being cut off to man. The place the Protestants and the church proves this is in Gen. 3:24.
Genesis 3:24
Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
If you will google Gen. 3:24 you will find hundreds of videos from many different beliefs saying the same thing. The church preaches the same message, of God setting His angel in front of the garden with a flaming sword going back and forth to keep man from the tree of life. This is what everybody believes no matter the church and I have proved this through many different beliefs, they all believe Gen. 3:24 means this same thing. I am going to take just one word out of the verse and disprove this completely. You will not be able to argue with it, and I know that because I have already brought this to the ministry, and they cannot argue with it.
The word is translated as “flaming”. This is how I put this to the local minister, this word is used only two times in the Bible Here in Gen. 3:24 and one other time in Exodus. Here is the word’s meaning.
From H3857; a blaze; also (from the idea of enwrapping) magic (as covert): – flaming, enchantment.
This is not a sword used, but is a spiritual influence spoken of as it is when Paul speaks of picking up the sword of the word. This word does not only disprove there are angels in front of the garden with a physical sword keeping mankind from the garden, but this is a spiritual influence using enchantments, spells and magic set in front of the garden. Now the only other place in the Bible this word is used is in Exodus.
Exo 7:11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.
The Bible gives a perfect example of this word showing God works through the Holy Spirit to change the rod into a snake and Satan used ENCHANTMENTS. This word shows the difference between the way God works and the way Satan works. God does not use enchantments, was what the local minister said with a shocked look on his face, even though he knew God does not use enchantments, although that is the weapon used to keep mankind from the garden set up in Gen. 3:24.
Understand what this one word does to the two trees idea. This word changes the way the tree of life is guarded. If it was God’s angels that were set to turn mankind from the garden, then these angels would have to be using enchantments to do so. God does not use enchantments nor does any of His obedient angels, the Bible shows only Satan uses enchantments. This is a spiritual weapon used, not a physical one. The story flow in Gen.3 is Satan overcame man, so God set Satan in the office of the Prince of the power of the air. Gen. 3:24 is the verse in which God sets Satan in office. This is Satan and his angels set up to turn man with enchantments from the garden. Unless you can prove God uses enchantments then I just proved to you God set up Satan in Gen. 3:24. I have tested this at the highest of levels and if John Ogwyn cannot disprove it then I do not believe anyone else can either.
God’s way of Life is works with grace not grace without works. Inherited sin is grace without works and the two trees are inherited sin, and inherited sin is the belief the Holy Spirit was cut off. The only verse the ministry has to prove the Holy Spirit was cut off is Gen.3:24. For the two trees to stand then God had to set up His Angels in front of the tree of life, using enchantment to blind mankind. Now as we have proven the beings set up in Gen. 3:24 used enchantments to turn mankind, only Satan uses enchantments, so we know it is Satan that is blinding mankind, and keeping man away from the tree of life, ETERNAL LIFE! Genesis 3:24 is not the verse that shows God blinded mankind, but God did what the Bible tells us God did and set Satan up as the Prince of the power of the air.
Abraham
The churches do not seem to preach the two trees much anymore however, the building that is built on this foundation is twisted in all the church doctrines. In any search for understanding there are walls we must get through. Walls that must be explained if what we believe is proven to be the truth. I am going to set up walls in front of the two trees moving out of the garden and twisting into the truth throughout the Bible. The first wall OUTSIDE THE GARDEN is Abraham.
I will mention Abraham but will bring out the full understanding of Abraham later. Abraham was righteous and made the kingdom. This is too early to bring in, but the two trees doctrine says only the prophets were given the Holy Spirit in the OT for the purpose of giving a witness. Abraham was righteous, and the Bible tells us if someone is righteous then they are begotten of God. I will show what this means, but the truth is the ministry cannot claim the Holy Spirit is cut off to mankind, without addressing Abraham. Abraham disproves the idea that God made an exception to His law and called the prophets under the NC for the PURPOSE of giving a witness to the world. One thing I do not understand with the ministry they never brought up Abraham is called a prophet in the Bible, but no minister has brought this up when we spoke about this subject. Maybe it is because Abraham did not give a witness and the two tree idea states God gave the Holy Spirit to the prophets FOR THE PURPOSE of giving a witness which Abraham did not do which disqualifies him under the two trees.
I will leave that here for now, but what I want to get across is the wall Abraham put up against the two trees moving out from the garden. The ministry did not do what the Bible requires, which is we take up the sword of the word and break down that wall. The ministry with the truth from the Bible did not break down that wall but instead went around that wall. Making the excuse and blaming it on God. “We do not know if Abraham had the Holy Spirit or not, the Bible does not tell us, and it is up to God to reveal the truth.” God has not revealed the truth, so we must not need to know the answer for our salvation. The proof shows God has revealed Abraham to the ministry you guys just will not follow God’s instruction. None of you men with the exception of Mr. Meredith believes Abraham was righteous void of the Holy Spirit! Men, you know God has revealed the truth to you, Abraham disproves the idea. You know Abraham had to have the Holy Spirit to be righteous. The ministry went around the wall, and those walls in the Bible are for our protection and keep us on the path. You cannot go around a wall and have the sword of the truth. If you choose to go around a wall, then you are no longer on the path of God. Abraham has to be answered for the belief God gave only the prophets the Holy Spirit for the purpose of giving a witness. You have no answer for Abraham and you never will while believing in inherited sin.
A Holy Nation
Here is the next wall outside the garden, the Bible tells us God will make Israel a Holy nation, Holy not just in name but in action with the Bible telling us they will be “Holy like God is Holy”. It is just like Abraham mankind cannot be righteous without the Holy Spirit, the nation of Israel cannot be Holy without the Holy Spirit. Here is the next wall the two trees have to answer, how Israel could be Holy like God is Holy without the Holy Spirit? The ministry goes around this wall also, but this time the tactic is to remove this covenant from the Bible, then replace this covenant with Abraham’s covenant, saying God will make them a great nation. No, the Bible says God will make them a Holy nation.
Deu 5:2 The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. Deu 5:3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.
The ministry hides these verses when they give a sermon on the Holy nation. The Bible is very plain: the covenant God made with Israel was not the covenant God made with their father, Abraham. This is a covenant that fulfills the physical promise of Abraham, adding the spiritual blessing with the physical blessing of Abraham. What made the covenant spiritual is the LAW, and I will show that later, but here once again the ministry went around the wall, but Deu. 5 proves this was not the covenant God made with Abraham., but instead a spiritual covenant God made with Israel.
The Covenants
The inherited sin doctrine preaches the OC was a physical covenant, and the NC is a spiritual covenant, this is the same teaching of the two trees. To move this inherited sin out of the garden the ministry had to go around Abraham, and the covenant God made with Israel. The two trees tell us God gave Israel only physical blessings, for physical obedience. However, we have already proven Abraham had the Holy Spirit because the Bible tells us he was righteous. We already know Israel had access to the Holy Spirit because God promised to make them Holy. You cannot be Holy as God is Holy without the Holy Spirit.
Exo 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: Exo 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
Verse 6 is the reason why the ministry removes this covenant from the Bible and replaces it with Abraham’s covenant. The two trees preach that these people were only given physical blessings and they are kings and priests of a great nation; the ministry has to do away with the covenant to cover the two trees. The Bible tells us they will be a HOLY nation. Now this verse is quoted by Peter, so let’s look at that verse.
1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
The two trees teach this by saying we are a chosen generation because we are living in the time under the NC. The ministry implies the word generation means the time in which we live. The two trees tell us the OC was physical with no spiritual blessing, so let’s see if this can go through the wall the Bible puts up in the way of inherited sin, moving first from the garden, and now from the OT to the New. We will find the answer to these verses in the word generation, does the word generation mean time and place, or does it mean inheritance? We have an example of this given by Mr. Armstrong, he used Noah to show the importance of keeping the races pure.
Gen 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
- Armstrong said this verse shows that Noah was pure in race, however this verse does not have anything to do with race. The words translated generation are not the same word. These are the GENERATIONS of Noah, meaning kin, relative, or heritage. The next word translated GENERATION means time and place. Chapter five shows the heritage of Noah which goes with the verse “these are the generations of Noah, (heritage).’ Perfect in his generation does not mean perfect in his heritage, but Noah was perfect in his time and place. Now let’s look at the word translated generation in 1Peter.
Generation- From G1096; “kin” (abstractly or concretely, literally or figuratively, individually or collectively): – born, country (-man), diversity, generation, kind (-red), nation, offspring, stock.
This is not saying we are a chosen generation for the time in which we live, this is saying we are a chosen generation by our heritage. The promise of the kingdom of God was given to Israel in Ex. 19 and handed down to the NC church. The promise which was handed down to the church was the promise of the kingdom of God. You would know that if you did not go around the wall and replace the covenant God made with Israel with the covenant God made with Abraham. We cannot go around a wall!
The New Covenant
Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Mr. Ogwyn used to give this sermon a lot and what he would do is stop at this verse and say, “See God found fault with the people, they did not have the Holy Spirit”. The Bible does not say the fault was they did not have the Holy Spirit, the Bible just said God found fault in the people.
Heb 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
The fault was with the people not the covenant, and the Bible shows the fault of the people if they did not continue in the covenant. We have already seen it was Satan set up in Gen.3:24, and we have seen Abraham had the Holy Spirit, and we have also seen God’s promise to Israel was to make of them a Holy nation, and to be kings and priests in the Kingdom of God where they will be Holy as God is Holy.
There is no proof the Holy Spirit was cut off to man. Gen. 3:24 is proof of God setting up Satan to blind the world, it is not proof God blinds the world. The reason the ministry does not understand Abraham is because you believe in the inherited sin teaching of the Holy Spirit being cut off. The proof is overwhelming that the Holy Spirit was not cut off, and I am just showing you a small portion of the proof here. I could write ten pages on each subject proving what I am bringing to you. In this book I am doing something different. I am just writing down the proof I set before LCG which they could not disprove, only hitting the major proof on each subject.
Deu 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
Here the Bible tells us because of the Word being in their mouths and in their heart, they can obey the covenant. The two trees will say it was the physical law these people were required to keep, but we know we cannot keep the law in the physical, if the fault was the people were not given the tools (the Holy Spirit) to obey the covenant the fault would be with the covenant. The Bible shows the fault was with the people not continuing in the covenant. The fault was with the people, not the covenant. We have the proof I have shown the Holy Spirit was not cut off which shows the OC was not a physical covenant, but a spiritual covenant with the promise of the kingdom of God.
Deu 10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.
Paul explained what circumcision of the heart means. Circumcision of the heart is the fruit of the Holy Spirit in their character, and Peter gave witness for Paul.
Act 10:44 While Peter spoke these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. Act 10:45 And those of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Spirit was not cut off to mankind, the promise God made to Israel is the Kingdom of God under the covenant God made with them, and that covenant was the OC. The goal of the OT was not to keep the physical covenant and receive physical blessings. Moses laid out the goal of the OC by telling the people to circumcise their hearts, this was the goal Moses set for the OC.
Heb 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
The fault of the people the Bible tells us was the people did not continue in the covenant. The fault was with the priests, rabbis and the whole priesthood government. These rabbis turned the OC into the law, closing the door for the people to circumcise their hearts. They robbed God of rulership over His people and turned the covenant God gave to Moses into a government of laws. These men controlled the law under the authority of Moses, so being in control of the law then the rabbis and priests controlled the people. Christ had to come and open up the law God gave to Moses and take back His children. Christ summed up the fault of the people not continuing in the covenant squarely on the heads of these religious leaders, also telling the fault of the people in this verse, and the reason He had to come to the earth with the NC.
Mat 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
Mat. 13:15
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they see see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. Mat 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
Going off of this foundation the two trees translate this verse to mean Christ preached to them in parables, so they could not understand, showing God blinds them in this age, looking at these verses from the foundation the Holy Spirit was not cut off. I am not going to show everything here, I will just state it and give the verses. If we look up the word parable we will find it means an example. The Protestants believe a parable is an example given to help the people to understand. Mr. Armstrong said the parables were given so the people could not understand. This idea that a parable is given to cause confusion is important enough to put in this book, because this version of inherited sin created by the two trees gives the IDEA merit when there is no merit. The wall I set in front of you this time is a parable. If a parable can be proving an example from the Bible and a helpful tool, then there is no merit in the two trees idea of a parable creating confusion.
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
John 3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
Here in John, Nicodemus came to Christ, and Christ spoke to him about being born of the Spirit. Christ was very strong with this man showing Nicodemus was a leader of the people and did not know basic understanding. Then Christ Himself explains a parable is a tool used showing an example of the physical to show the spiritual. The two trees have their own narrative using this verse to prove God blinds the world, using parables to confuse people from understanding the words of Christ. A parable Christ shows as a tool to understand, the prophecy of Esaias was not a prophecy of God blinding people.
Mat 13:15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
This verse is mentioned many times in the gospels, but in all the other places the sentence structure can be manipulated and in all the other places this verse is translated “He closed their eyes and dulled their hearing, with He as meaning God. You need to stop here a minute. The Protestants wrote this Bible, manipulated the Bible as I will show and translated this word to mean HE, but it is the reason they manipulate the Bible I want to bring out. The Protestants and the Church have the same belief which is inherited sin. It is the Protestants that believe God is blinding the world and that is the reason why they translated this “He”, to cover inherited sin, the belief of the Holy Spirit being cut off.
The sentence structure in this verse gives the translators no choice but to translate it correctly as the “people closed their eyes and dulled their hearing.” The sentence structure is the proof this word should be translated ‘they’ throughout the Bible. It is not God that blinds them, but it is the people blind themselves, by closing up their eyes and their hearing to the words Christ gave them. Now look at the way Paul explains this, he gives the prophecy of Esaias, then shows the people shutting off their hearing to the words of Christ, then explains why God rejects these leaders and opens the door to the Gentiles.
Sower of the Seeds
Mat 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way.
There is even a lower level in the foundation of Satan’s way of life than inherited sin. Inherited sin was built on the foundation of grace, and grace is the lowest level of Satan’s way of life. Satan’s way of life at its core is grace without works. God’s way of life works with grace.
Jas 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? Can faith save him?
James addresses this exact subject in length. I will start from the beginning; the two ways of life are shown in Genesis. God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree showing God’s way of life works with grace. The grace was the knowledge that eating of the tree would break the law, and only bad things happen if man breaks the law. The works were for Adam to not eat of the tree. God’s way of life is not grace, grace comes first then works are required.
Satan ‘s way of life is grace without works. Satan’s temptation of Eve consisted of Satan’s first sermon was about grace and grace alone the foundational belief of the Protestants. Satan convinced Eve she did not have to do any work, but it was the grace of the tree. All she had to do was eat of the tree and the grace would freely be given there are no works to be done. There are two ways of life.
Jas 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? Jas 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
The foundation of our understanding is what translates verses as we move through the Bible. Take the sowing of the seeds for an example. This verse says, for those that hear the word and understand it not: Here is where the two ways of life can be brought out clearly. The Protestant’s grace foundation translates the meaning of the word “understand” by saying by grace understanding comes, not works. The teaching on this comes from the foundation of inherited sin. God blinds most and gives grace to a few. Notice the works here do not come into play, if you are a person to whom grace was not given then there is no work this person can do to receive grace, so it is by grace this person is blinded. If a person is given grace and this person did no work to receive the grace, then it is grace without works.
It is not as simple as a light switch turned off, so the person does not understand then when grace comes the switch is turned on. God does not build character by grace. God gives grace and it is the person’s choice whether they do the work with the grace they are given. If they do work more grace is given with this same building of character with every work done with the grace will be rewarded with more grace given with more works required. God builds character in man and that cannot be done by grace. God’s way of life works with grace.
It is important to bring out what is being said here, the way people think of this is God let mankind go on their own and gave grace to a few. That is not what this doctrine is saying. What this doctrine is saying is BY GRACE the people of the world are blinded. God did not let mankind go his way according to this doctrine this is saying the people were not given the choice but to go the wrong way, because God is preventing them in this age of making the choice, guarding the right choice by setting angels to use enchantment on mankind to keep them from making the right choice.
The church preaches God gave man free moral choice but as you can see here that is not what the ministry teaches with the two trees. The two trees believe there is no free moral choice until a person is called, but the choice of being called is pure grace which is the same belief as being saved to the Protestants. The Protestants believe it is by grace we are saved the church believes it is by grace we are called. The church twists this meaning into the resurrections to hide the belief as saved by grace, however the church believes it is by grace we have the opportunity to be SAVED IN THIS AGE. The two trees are the belief of inherited sin just with a Mr. Armstrong twist on the idea. You cannot believe that the Holy Spirit is cut off and not believe we are saved by grace and grace ALONE. Whether it be for eternity as the Protestants believe or being called in this age the belief is the same, only the spiritual punishment is different in the two ideas, inherited sin and the two trees.
Understanding is a working word, there must be works before we understand. When we bring this parable and this word to understand and put it with Mat. 13:15 then the Bible shows it was the people that closed their eyes. How is someone going to understand what a person is telling them, if this person has closed his eyes to what they are saying or dulled their hearing on what is being said. There is no way for this person to do the work of learning and coming to understanding, if the person has closed themselves off to understanding.
The sowing of the seeds is a witness to Mat.13:15. Mr. Armstrong explained to us let the Bible interpret the Bible, and he also explained how to let the Bible interpret the Bible. There are phrases the Bible has written in it that mean certain things, there is one of those phrases in this verse ( Mat.13:19). “That which was sown in his heart”. You men know this, so I am not going into it much, but this sown in the hearts shows Divine influence, only God BY THE HOLY SPIRIT can sow the words of Christ in someone’s heart. I will go back to that subject and bring in more information later, for now this verse also shows the WICKED ONE takes away what is sown. This shows God gave the grace of the words physically and these words sown in the hearts show spiritual influence. Last, it is Satan that takes away what God had given. God did not blind the people in Matt. 13, the people closed their eyes and Satan took away the grace of the words of Christ and the spiritual influence sown in their heart by the Holy Spirit.
Called
Inherited sin is the belief the Holy Spirit is cut off to mankind. The belief of the Holy Spirit being cut off leads only to one place and that is the belief we are saved by grace and grace alone. This idea has problems from its base, with one problem being which comes first works or grace? Here is how an evangelist put this in a sermon, he said before we are CALLED, we have to do the works of building faith and belief void of the Holy Spirit, once we have done these works then God looks upon us to see if we have this special something in us that God can use in this age. The something being spoken of here cannot be explained, just something God sees in us that shows God we can make it in this age.
Here is the problem with this idea, first there is no proof from the Bible of the IDEA. Next, if we do works before we receive grace, and these works we do void of the Holy Spirit determines whether God will look down on us and make the decision whether we have this special thing in us so we can be called then we have done works of salvation void of the Holy Spirit, which in turn shows we earn our salvation.
Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
LCG is the church I will use as an example for the rest of the churches, I went around and around with them 12 years ago and could get no answers. When I brought this back to them a leading evangelist gave a sermon on this subject. “The Bible tells us many are called but we know that only a few are called”. I brought this up in the book I sent them, and a few weeks later the same minister gave a sermon on the subject. He said a person can be “literally called”, but there needs to be more, they also must have the Holy Spirit, and they must do their part.
Common sense will tell us if there are works that must be done before we receive grace, then it is by our works we are saved. Here is another one of those walls, if we cannot explain which one comes first, grace or works, then we do not understand “called”. There is no path to understand called going by the doctrine of inherited sin. I will show you how easy this is to understand going by this foundation I bring you. The two trees are Mr. Armstrong’s explanation of the Protestant path for the prophets. I am showing inherited sin and all the walls God put up against this idea and how every wall God sets in front of the two trees idea the ministry went around. The two trees are not an explanation of the Protestant path
Called- From the same as G2821; invited, that is, appointed, or (specifically) a saint: – called.
The Holy Spirit was not cut off but works WITH all of mankind from the foundation of the earth. I have heard ministers get up and say God has called us by name. That is not so, God called those that have overcome, and died by name at their resurrection, but all are called by invitation. The two ways of life are Satan’s way of life, grace without works, and God’s way of Life works with grace. These ministers preaching God have called us by name and are preaching a grace without works message. This shows by pure grace we are called in this age. Being called by invitation shows free moral choice in our calling. There is no free moral choice in the two trees of grace, either we are called, and our eyes opened by grace or we are blinded by grace, there is no free moral choice in the two trees idea.
God’s way of life works with the grace which shows the grace comes FIRST, showing the Holy Spirit was not cut off. This shows with grace works are required, with works more grace will be given, but if no works then what grace was given will be taken away, free moral choice. We can put these parables together and find some answers going by the sowing of the seed parable: the words of Christ were sown in the people’s hearts, showing Divine influence, this shows grace before the works. The calling from God is an invitation and many are called. Only a few are chosen to show works with grace. Mat. 13:15, shows the people are the ones making the decision of closing their eyes and dulling their hearing, and it is Satan who takes away what God has sown. This information I am giving you does not go around the walls but goes through the wall. What I must add is more proof the Holy Spirit was not cut off and I will do this as we go along.
Mixture of Good and Evil
Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Here is the verse which many use to prove Satan teaches a mixture of good and evil. With the storyline being man can build some of God’s character void of the Holy Spirit, but it will be mixed with evil.
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Their claims Rom. 2:14 shows proof a person void of the Holy Spirit can keep a portion of the law is disproved by this verse in Hebrews. Here the word carnal does not mean evil just a mind void of the Holy Spirit although a mind void of the Holy Spirit is evil as explained in this verse. A mind void of the Holy Spirit is an enmity to God, and is not subject to God’s law, however in this verse in Romans the Bible seems to contradict itself saying a person who does not have the law does by NATURE things contained in the law, so what is the answer? The answer is very plain: the ministry is looking at these verses and others with the viewpoint of the Protestants inherited sin with the Holy Spirit being cut off.
Rom 2:15 Which shows the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
Here we see a phrase in the Bible showing Divine intervention, the law WRITTEN in their hearts. The Bible uses this phrase many times and every time the Bible is speaking by God’s intervention, He is writing the laws in the people’s hearts.
Rom 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Roman 2:14 shows the people by nature do works of the law not having the law, and their conscience bears witness to them by what was written in their hearts. The thing about the two trees or inherited in the ideas shows the people do not have the choice of obeying the law and they are not held accountable in this age for their actions because they are cut off from the Holy Spirit, and blinded by God so they cannot obey even if they wanted to obey.
This is not what the Bible is telling us; these people have Divine intervention of the laws of God written in their hearts and they will be judged by the gospel with their conscience convicting them or excusing them. The two trees blind the ministry from understanding the Bible, a carnal mind is someone void of the Holy Spirit and they cannot keep the law, but by NATURE those that do not have the law but obey a portion of the law, the portion of the law they have is written in their hearts by the Holy Spirit. Lastly the Bible shows what they know of the law they will be judged by the law, and that is what this means by “they are a law unto themselves. By nature, it is only void of the Holy Spirit going by the belief of inherited sin or the two trees of the Holy Spirit being cut off. The Bible shows the Holy Spirit is not cut off and by nature does not mean a carnal mind cut off from the Holy Spirit. The Bible shows God writes the law in someone’s hearts BY NATURE, showing the Holy Spirit is not cut off, and these people will be judged by the law written in their hearts. The Jews who have the law are judged by the law, those that do not have the law will be judged by the portion of the law God has written in their hearts, this is plain to understand when looked at this without the blinding of the two trees idea.
Predestination
Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Rom 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, whom he also called: and whom he called, whom he also justified: and whom he justified, whom he also glorified.
Predestination shows the perfect examples of the two ways of life. According to the two trees this means by grace without works, we are foreknown, predestined, called, justified, and then glorified. The ministry preaches we must do works with grace after we have received our calling, however the act of being one that is chosen in this age is the Protestant belief of grace and grace alone. Let me take you out of the box of the two trees and show a different foundation, not based on the Protestant inherited sin, not from the idea the Holy Spirit was cut off, and last not in the way of life of grace and grace alone.
Predestination is a selection plan of whom will be glorified in this age. God foreknew everyone, the selection plan starts with all of mankind. From those that God foreknew, God predestined. The Bible shows us this predestination process with Abraham, but more importantly the Bible shows us the way of life in which predestination occurred. It was by the works with the grace of Abraham which predestined Israel, it was not grace without works. Now from those that were predestined He called. Here is where we put the parables together again, the word called in this passage gives us the proof we need to prove predestination is a selection plan.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
To understand the Bible, we have to know the two ways of life, and it is not the two trees. The two ways of life are grace without work and work with grace. This understanding is important as with this understanding we can confirm the influence in which we are being guided. The two trees doctrine is inherited sin, and inherited sin believes in grace without works, so this will be the theme of everything that comes from this foundation. Here are the two trees- God foreknew only a special few, and God predestined these people, called them, justified them, and glorified them in this age from the foundation of the earth. There are no works in this belief and let me explain Mr. Armstrong understood well we must do works of the Law; the belief of inherited sin does not deceive the church that God did away with the law. However, it is just by pure grace we are called as it is by pure grace the world is blinded this is the belief of inherited sin. Now if we have done our homework and understand our enemy and know and understand the Protestant deception of inherited sin, then we would SEE how inherited sin sneaks itself into the church.
Predestination is a selection plan and here is the proof. Many are called but only a few are chosen. The two trees show God by grace selected a very few to bring through the stages of being foreknown to be glorified. The Bible never shows someone at the first stage of receiving the Holy Spirit (as you understand called) being called by name. All people are called by invitation, and with an invitation the free moral choice of not accepting the invitation, so we get many are called but few are chosen. Translating this word many does not give the meaning justice, the word means more than many but means a multitude. The difference of this foundation I bring you is showing works with grace. From being foreknown, works are required to be predestined, no other man followed in the path of Abraham, and by his works he made faith perfect. Being called cannot be understood believing in inherited sin, grace must come first, you cannot find the answers believing in we do works without grace before we are called.
Mat. 13:15 shows this free moral choice with the people closing their eyes and dulling their hearing. The sowing of the seeds shows the words of Christ were SOWN in their hearts and show Divine influence. Here is predestination confirmed by using the word “called” meaning an invitation. Those that God predestined, God invited to be justified under the blood of Christ, and then glorified by the name of Jesus Christ, however only a few took up the invitation. Predestination is a selection plan, and it works with grace. The word called in this verse gives us great understanding if we know where to look. Everyone that was foreknown were not called, we know this because everyone that was called was foreknown but everyone that is called will not be justified, because the Bible tells us many are called but few are chosen. Justified we know means at the time of baptism, and coming under the blood of Christ, and forgiven of our sins.
The Bible shows a big gap between being called and being justified. The Bible also shows there is a big gap between foreknowledge and predestination. We have already looked at the sowing of the seed where the proof shows Divine influence on the heart and have seen in Mat. 13:15 it was the people that cut themselves off from God, by closing their eyes. We have seen it is Satan that takes away what God has sown, and last, we have seen if the people would see with their eyes, (meaning open the eyes they have closed), hear with their ears, and UNDERSTAND with their HEART they could be healed of their blindness. This is a selection plan, and many are invited, but it is by our free moral choice whether we follow God and become justified (baptism), or we close our eyes.
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
John 6:44
John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me to draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
The two trees have made this verse out to be a verse of pure grace. With the ministry preaching God has to draw us, showing the world is not called today that is a teaching of pure grace. John the 6th chapter is one of the greatest examples of works with grace in the Bible.
John 3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
John the 6th chapter has the theme of all we have seen so far put in one. The storyline of the chapter is Christ is bringing in the NC, and to bring in the NC Christ had to have men that believed He was the Messiah. As we understand all things come through Christ, the leader of the church Christ will build had to believe that Christ was the Son of the Living God. The whole chapter is a selection plan, John the 6th chapter does not start and end with verse 44. Christ spoke to the people in parables which are examples given in the physical to show the spiritual, and Christ explains in John 3: 11&12. Here in John 6 Christ preaches to them of spiritual things. Christ is testing all the people including those that followed Him. The first thing a person must understand to be part of the NC is Christ is the Messiah. If a person does not understand this then they cannot be part of the NC.
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Now here is the predestination laid out for us in the Bible. Look at Mat. 13:15 being played out here, and the sowing of the seed parable being played out also. After all the miracles Christ had shown them, we see in the Bible the people closing their eyes, dulling their hearing, and walking away.
John 6:41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. John 6:42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
It is not these people God blinded and did not give them the help from the Holy Spirit, the words were sown in their hearts. Christ also showed the people all the miracles and they were given a witness. They did not accept or believe that Christ came down from heaven, which means they did not believe Christ was the Messiah. Christ is bringing in the NC and anyone that moves to the NC has to believe Christ was the Messiah, so the people by their unbelief disqualified themselves and Satan took away what these people had, which is the Divine influence on the heart, and all the miracles Christ showed them. They disregarded all of these things and walked away. It was not the Father who did not draw them, the Father did draw them with the Divine influence of the heart and the miracles performed. The Father drew them to the point they walked away.
John 6:64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. John 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
John 6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Inherited sin has people believing understanding is a matter of grace. No, it is a matter of works with grace, we are saved by grace because there can be no works done without grace.
However, without works of grace, grace will not save us alone. This chapter is showing the selection plan of predestination, Christ is separating the sheep from the goats. Christ already explained He was teaching examples of the physical to show the spiritual and they do not understand, and there is no way they could understand the spiritual, if they cannot even understand the physical. There is a purpose for this selection plan in John 6, which is Christ is bringing in the NC the people the Father will draw and will believe that Christ is the Son of God. Without the works with the grace the Father has given, these people CANNOT believe or understand that Christ is the Messiah, and they must understand this to move to the NC, so the Father rejected them, by their works they were rejected.
The Bible is not so confused as we see with the two trees and inherited sin. The Bible is simple, so we can understand, to bring these words to life, ask yourselves how can the Father bring these people into the NC if they did not believe Christ is the Messiah? What we are seeing here is an example of the sowing of the seeds, and the various stages people are at in that parable. We have those where the word fell by the wayside, and we have more people that have followed Christ falling away because the words of Christ were too hard for them. Neither of these groups can move to the NC, because of their unbelief that Christ was the Messiah. Notice Christ is weeding these people out, first He started with showing the people He came from heaven, and many walked away, but there were some that believed who did not walk away with these people, so Christ increased the test by saying we must eat of His flesh and drink of His blood. This was too much for those that had not walked away at this time, but these words were too hard, so they also walked away.
John 6:60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it?
There is a purpose in all that we see here in John 6, with the end result choosing which ones among all of these people can God use to start His church. No one understood what Christ was saying not even the disciples. Notice the works with the grace the Father required of a person so they qualify to be brought to Christ.
John 6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? John 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life. John 6:69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
The twelve did not understand the words Christ was speaking either but they did a work that the others did not do, which is they had faith and when they heard the gospel they believed. They did not understand what Christ was saying but they understood that Christ was the Messiah and they could not walk away because they knew there was nowhere else to go. That was the work required for the Father to draw the people to Christ. The purpose is the Father’s selection of those that would start the church. This is a selection plan just as we see with predestination and the selection is based on the works with grace, not the two trees grace without works.
The Father
What I have been showing in this point is the path of the two trees, and how many walls this idea had to go around to give the image of the truth. It is the Protestant path which Mr. Armstrong was after, but he used the inherited sin foundation of the Holy Spirit that was cut off to start his search for the answer. There are no answers with his idea starting with the Holy Spirit being cut off, because the Holy Spirit being cut off is the foundation on which inherited sin was built, with Satan’s temptation of Eve of grace and grace alone.
When I came back into the Church and started studying these two trees, I found all this proof I have shown here, I have left out the overwhelming proof and saved it for last. This proof stands alone in disproving the two trees idea, this proof also has a story to tell and those stories are the reasons I left it for last.
When I was studying these two trees I kept running into walls until I ran into a wall which is so big there is no way to walk around it. It was so big it set me at odds with the ministry, and lastly this proof was so big it had to be resolved before I could walk with the ministry. This set me down the path which started 24 years ago of obeying God or obeying the ministry. This ministry had to answer this question for me to obey God and follow the ministry. The truth I am talking about is the path Mr. Armstrong created for the prophets (the explanation of the Protestant path) claiming God made an exception to His law and brought the prophets under the NC, and gave them the Holy Spirit for the purpose of witnessing to the people. This whole idea is based on God making an exception and the prophets being under the NC. The reason this proof is so important is this exception Mr. Armstrong uses for the reason of the Holy Spirit being given to the prophets in the OT.
First let’s look at the exception which is something that is never explained by the ministry. The prophets were not under the blood of Christ, and animal sacrifice was not worthy of the forgiveness of sin, so the exception we are talking about here is the Father allowing sin in His presence. Through the NC we today can only be in the presence of the Father through Christ. The Bible shows there is only one way to get to the Father and that is by the blood of Christ, not by the promise of sacrificing the blood, but only by the blood of Christ can we be in the presence of the Father.
The truth I am writing about is that the prophets did not have a relationship with the Father, the Word was the God of the OT. The NC is the relationship with the Father proving the prophets were not under the NC. All the proof I have shown up to now shows proof beyond argument. I know this because I have shown this to the ministry, and they could not argue with it. There is no way to talk yourselves out of this one. Mr. Armstrong taught, and then all the ministry followed this teaching that the Word was the God of the OT. The relationship with the Father was open to mankind at Christ’s death and His blood was shed. The promise of the Word fulfilling this was not worthy of the forgiveness of sin, nor was it worthy of a relationship with the Father. Only after Christ fulfilled the requirement did the Father set Christ at His right hand as the Mediator between the Father and sin.
The Story
People are going to think whatever they want to think, and there is not anything that I can do about that, so all I can do is lay it out for them and let God do the rest, this is what a witness is! What if someone is just after what he says he is after, the truth? What if this person knows there is a government of God and all things must go through that government? What if a person just wants the ministry to do the ministry’s job and prove this right or wrong? When I came to the wall the prophets did not have a relationship with the Father proving the prophets were not under the NC. I could no longer believe Mr. Armstrong’s explanation of the path of the prophets without this being addressed and answered. Some men want to look at power and personal gain and their faith is small. Men like this do not SEE there is a real God and there are requirements God has put on us and that includes the membership proving what we believe.
We must bring an account to God every day for our actions on that day. As we look through our behavior, good or bad, we bring an account to God in our prayers. Now I have asked God for understanding and I ran into the prophets who did not have a relationship with the Father. I must have an answer to these questions to be able to make that account. I found this information a little over 26 years ago I will not go into this much with the purpose of shortening this book, but LCG has a misunderstanding about the government of God, there are three branches in the government of God, the Rulership, the leadership and the membership, and yes, the membership is part of the government of God. All branches of the government have power given to the branches from God. Our relationship is with God and the membership’s job in the government is to keep the ministry in check. That check is for the safety of the ministry and the members, and it is also a test.
Mr. Armstrong knew God’s way of life and works with grace and taught this understanding by saying “Open your Bibles and prove me right or wrong”. I worked with the ministry for ten years, first with Global and then with LCG. The reason I wrote them a separate book is to address their behavior over the 10 years. I will not go into that much in this book just using examples of their behavior which shows the merit of this information I bring you.
I have been working with this ministry for ten years and have not received one answer to one question in that ten years. I angered these men by bringing this to them, and not letting it go when they commanded me to let it go. It was not until John Ogwyn wrote me an email showing the ministry will not answer any of these questions and I had to believe the ministry’s teaching if I wanted to stay in the church. The government of God will not allow me to leave this leadership unless they take the power from God and rule in such a manner, however with them behaving in this manner God leaves me no choice but to leave. I spent 14 years perfecting this and testing the Protestant churches belief and it has been many years since I have had a question on this subject, that I could not answer by the foundation of what I bring. I then addressed LCG and they doubled down on their behavior, so now I am bringing this to the rest of the churches in search for the answers. That is what this is about and that is all this is about, a member coming to the ministry asking questions which is a requirement God sets on all members and insisting on answers which a requirement for the ministry under the government of God is. I am not in the wrong by bringing this up and insisting on an answer, it is the ministry which is in the wrong for refusing to answer questions that come against what they are preaching and commanding me to believe without proof.
They could never get it out of their heads, and believed I was after what they were after, power and influence, and their actions show their intent. There is no reason why anyone should even know my name, this is for the ministry to prove and the ministry to bring to the world, not a member. They could not understand that I cannot make an account of God coming to Him without these answers. Their lust for power blinded them then and now from a member bringing the government of God to them, and insisting they rule by the government of God.
Here is how they decided to rule. Mr. Meredith got up in a sermon and said this, “The Father did not have a relationship with the prophets, but Christ was God too, and we are not going to reinvent the wheel”. I cannot accept that answer, Mr. Meredith does not have the authority in the government to proclaim the Bible shows the prophets did not have a relationship with the Father, showing he understood the prophets were not under the NC. then took the power from the Bible after admitting the two trees wrong, and proclaimed he is not going to obey the Bible and change his ideas calling the two trees the “wheel”. “Christ being God too” has nothing to do with answering that the prophets did not have a relationship with the Father. Mr. Meredith does not have the authority to disregard this question and make a ruling that goes against the Bible, which he did.
When I brought this back to this church the ministry added to my knowledge. Mr. Armstrong wrote a booklet entitled “God destined Israel to Fail”. In this booklet Mr. Armstrong attacked men that were trying to take away the idea of the two trees. This shows there were some men that were questioning the two trees back in Mr. Armstrong’s day. I received more information with John Ogwyn when he said what I am bringing up has come up in the church before, but he would not explain himself. The question I have on this is did these ministers that were questioning the two trees bring Mr. Armstrong the information the prophets did not have a relationship with the Father. This one statement disproves the two trees, and Mr. Meredith admitted to it when he gave the answer “Christ is God too”.
This time around I had been accustomed to dealing with John Ogwyn, not a local minister. The knowledge and the grounding in the truth of this local minister was at a much lower level, however this minister sent in my direction an article written by a minister in the mid 70’s. This article addresses the question I had: did Mr. Armstrong have the information of the prophet’s relationship with the Father? The minister who wrote this article gave a scripture showing the Word (Melchisedek) prayed to the MOST HIGH, the Being that would become the Father, then in this article this minister gave a scripture showing King David prayed to the Most High. What he was promoting without coming out and saying it was King David prayed to the Most High, the Father. He ended this article by asking the question. “Whom do king David pray to”?
Just to show the lack of grounding in the truth in church doctrine when I showed to this local minister the proof the prophets did not have a relationship with the Father, first I had to explain to him the Father had a relationship with the prophets as He did with all mankind, but it was the prophets which did not have a relationship with the Father. That relationship was closed until Christ gave His sacrifice and became the Mediator between man and the Father. The answer this local minister gave was he did not know he would investigate it, but the prophets had to have some kind of relationship with the Father. This shows NO UNDERSTANDING of what Mr. Armstrong taught on the God of the OT was the Word not the Father, more importantly that this local minister’s understanding was this shows Mr. Armstrong had the question, the prophets did not have a relationship with the Father.
Shortly after that meeting this deceitful article was sent showing the lack of grounding in the truth from this local minister. Mr. Armstrong proved without doubt the Word was the God of the OT if this local minister was grounded, he would not have given such an uneducated answer. This local minister was trying to use deception by sending this article or he just did not understand the true doctrine himself, so this article may have deceived him, either way what the article showed was Mr. Armstrong and the ministry had this information of the relationship with the prophets and the Father since the 70’s and have been hiding this information from the membership using this deception. The local minister was trying to use deception, but what he really did was give me my answer of did Mr. Armstrong have the information on the relationship the prophets had with the Father” which this article proves Mr. Armstrong did have this information, making the decision of hiding this from the members came from Mr. Armstrong, backed up by what Mr. Ogwyn said, and the booklet Mr. Armstrong wrote.
Understand this very well what this IDEA is saying is King David prayed to the Father which makes the Father the God of the OT. This ministry under Mr. Armstrong used deception (and I will show it is deception) to cover this lie, and this deceitful article is proof of that. Lastly, this local minister was also trying to use this deception which brings the blame not just on the minister who wrote this article in WWCG but brings this deception to LCG today, which makes them accountable to God for this deception. This is not proof the Father was the God of the OT, but more proof of the truth the Word was the God of the OT. Starting with this minister’s deception trying to picture the Father as the Most High. The Father is the Most High to Christ and to us in the NC, but the Word was the Most high to King David. The Most High is not a name or a title for the Father. The question by this minister to Whom did king David pray to.
Psa 78:17 And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness. Psa 78:17 And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.
Num 11:33 And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, where it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague.
David is calling the God in the wilderness the Most High, the Word was the God in the wilderness. The Bible shows the Word was also the Most High in the OT. The word means supreme. Melchisedek’s (The Word) Supreme was the Father. David could not get to the Father, and the Word was the God of the OT. David’s supreme was the Word showing more proof the Word was the God of the OT and disproving the idea the Father was the God of the OT as this article is suggesting. The answer to this minister’s question of Whom King David was praying to when King David prayed to the Most High was the Word.
I have written this book in a different way than the others I wrote and decided to bring you the lie in the 1/3 of Church doctrine first. I have shown you all the walls this idea had to go around to give an image of the truth. I have shown the proof to disprove all these deceptions used to go around these walls. I have shown the two trees are a lie and a Protestant belief of inherited sin. Last, I have shown the two trees are not the answer for the Protestant’s path for the prophets. I will spend the rest of this book showing proof of the path for the prophets and we will start at the bottom line.
The Prophets Path
The bottom line of what we must have to enter into the kingdom is the Holy Spirit and the forgiveness of sin. We know the prophets had the Holy Spirit and we know they made the kingdom, we also know God making an exception to His law and bringing the prophets under the NC is a lie. To find the path we must answer these two questions, how did the prophets have the Holy Spirit under the OT? Next, how were the sins of the prophets forgiven before Christ’s sacrifice? We will start the search with finding the answer to the Holy Spirit under the OT.
The Pure River
There is all this confusion about the path God gave the prophets to the kingdom with all the ideas I have looked at in 26 years. I never saw anyone searching in a mathematical way, when the Bible is a math book. God is teaching children and the method of teaching is laid out in the beginning of Genesis. God does not want us to make spiritual decisions without the knowledge and character to make the right decision. Here is the problem and the method in which Mr. Armstrong set out to find the knowledge of the Protestant path for the prophets. Mr. Armstrong did not use math and started making spiritual decisions without the physical proof or knowledge. He said the two trees are the two ways of life, but he could not prove it. He said the tree of life was God’s tree and all things come from the tree of Life including the Holy Spirit, but he could not prove it. He said the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was Satan’s tree and Satan teaches a mixture of good and evil, but he could not prove it. These are spiritual answers without the physical proof to back them up as I will show. Without the physical proof the spiritual answer does not come from God, and this is EATING OF THE TREE.
Mr. Armstrong used the spiritual to come up with his idea on the two trees. He started making things in the Bible symbolizing a certain thing then used what he said something meant without doing any works to prove these items mean these things, and all this speculation is what the two trees idea is founded on. There is no work done here, do you know there is not even one verse given to prove the two trees represent the two ways of life? The two trees idea comes from the god of grace without works. The idea is confusing and a lie. God’s way of life does not work this way there is no confusion with God.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
God is the great Mathematician. When we get out of the grace without work mindset and start looking at this as a child, then we follow God’s example. We go to God for answers, however it is not like what Mr. Armstrong did and come up with answers without the questions being answered. God gives us questions and if we do the work with the grace of the questions then God will lead us to the answers. To find the answer we take what we know to be the truth and put it together. The Bible using the physical to represent the spiritual shows the importance of symbols, we must understand the symbols in the Bible, so let’s start with one we know. The Holy Spirit in the Bible is represented as being a River in the Bible (and air). The next thing we know is the prophets had the Holy Spirit and they made the kingdom.
Trying to find the truth is not about the self it is about God. Looking at this trying to prove the two trees I ran into the same walls Mr. Armstrong ran into. There was no proof to back up what he was saying about the two trees in the Bible. His path for the prophets is a twisting of the Protestant belief of inherited sin and in the end, they are the same idea. This has nothing to do with Mr. Armstrong (the self) this is about God and believing the Holy Spirit was cut off, and there is no way to believe that idea going by the proof. We have done the works with the grace in proving the two trees is not the path for the prophet
The nature of Christ
No one understands Christ or Satan. There has been a covering of delusion over the most important thing in the Bible and in creation.We have all these ideas out there about Christ but none are done by Isa. 28 so none of them are correct.All these ideas are based on grace and grace alone. Christ was God so Christ could not sin. There is the 100% God and 100% man idea which shows Christ was fully in the flesh and had human nature but Christ was also God so He could not sin. There is another saying that God was a high bread with both nature ofGod and human.nature but all these ideas come back to the base of grace and grace alone.
What this leaves us with is Christ did not by works with the grace overcome sin but it was grace and grace alone that Christ overcame sin.
All of these ideas add up to is Christ sacrifice was fake it was a show but not real. Christ was not really tempted by Satan because God cannot be tempted.The delusion Satan has set on the earth is Christ was not real, He was a fake and he was not like us in the flesh but had advantages we do not have. You have one person get up and say “I am righteous but not like Chrsit but I did not have the advantages of Christ either. What this man was saying was that he was just as righteous as Christ..
The base of all man’s understand is Christ came to show man how good man can be but Christ had advantages we do not have so Christ is a fake, and salvation that came through Christ is also fake.If Christ over came sin by grace the everything about salvation is fake going by ALL the teaching in the world. Lets leave that a minute and look at Satan
Satan has everyone believing that he went into the garden to take rulership over man from God. That is true, but there are some that are closer to God and the Holy Spirit can show them Satan did not just want to take rulership over from man but Satan wanted to kill God before man could become God that way Satan could kill God by killing the God Family. However, no one understands what Satan went into the garden. Satan attacked God but God did not fight him he could not get to God which angered him this way he could kill God by killing the Family of God. Men and women that would become God.
Some have this much discernment but most blind themselves before they get this far.There is a bottom line and no one has the bottom line and the bottom line is the key to understanding Christ.Satan did not just go into the garden to kill mankind Satan went into the garden to kill one of the Godheads, Christ. Now everyone jumps up here and says God cannot be killed, but that is not what the Bible tells us. God was killed and there was only one reason that Christ lives today which is He lived a sinless life. Sin blocked the Father from mankind and Christ was a man.
Hab 1:13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
Isa 1:15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood
The Father does not make exception to His law if Christ would have died one sin there Christ would not have been resurrect the reason being is that Father will no tallow sin in His presence, To say by you fake god that God cannot die God did die and Christ would have remained in the grave for the law would have prevented the Father from resurrecting Him. Remember it was not Christ that resurrected himself, it was by Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Satan has everything about Christ covered in a veil that no one can see< Chist did not come to the earth to show man how great they could me be, but to show man CANNOT be great because of the nature of man.Here is the nature of man.
Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Man”s nature void of the Holy Spirit is evil. By nature man does not want to keep the law but break it. That is man’s nature without the Holy Spirit. This verse shows clearly the word carnal just means the flesh, the internal parts of a body.
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Your minister spoke out of his ignorance when he said he would be like Christ if had Christ’s advantage. To have Christ’s advantage as his confused man stated then this minister we have to be God. Christ gave up all glory and the only thing Christ had left was who He was. Christ was God and he did not take on the nature of man but came in the nature of God
Php. 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
likeness of man.
These two verses hold the secret that is veiled by Satan of Christ and the purpose for Christ coming.The word form is a spiritual word and means nature. Christ came in the nature of God no man has come in the nature of God. Chrfist did not hide it. He was not fake. He said many times He was God on earth. Christ did not come to earth to be a competition to man. Christ came to the earth to show man the only way to overcome sin is to form in the image of the Son and put on the nature of God.
2Pe_1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
The word likeness here in Php. 2:7 is a physical word and it means resemblance. Chrsiy came in the flesh of a man but in the nature of God and that was the reason He was God on earth and that was the treason He did not sin.
Here are two places in the Bible that show the nature of God. One showing there is no darkness in God. Then Christ show Satan has nothing in Him
1Jn 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
This is why Isa. 28 is the starting part of the Bible because this passage shows us how to learn. People look at the verse where the Bible show us God cannot be tempted and put their own meaning on what is being said without working Isa.28 and look up the precept on the subject. They come with what the SAtan way of life teaches by grace. There is some magical thing blocking sin from tempting God. It is not magic and it is not fake. God cannot be tempted because their nature is opposite of sin. Nature of God is the law and the law ends in love. Christ would have had to go against His nature to sin, unlike man has to obey to keep the law and not sin. This is what Christ came to show man, Christ emptied Himself of all glory and started where man starts with one exception He came is the Form (nature of God) showing man only the nature of God can overcome sin that was what purpose Chrsit came to the earth.
Now we see what human nature is without God and we have seen coveted people putting on the nature of God in 2 Pet. Now before we end lets get a full understanding and look at the starting part of man putting on the nature of God and people that are in the middle
Gen_4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bore a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
Gen_4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
Gen_5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
Eve had many sons when Seth came along but Eve only had one son as that was like Able. Notice Seth did not come in the form of Adam but came in his likeness the word likeness has the same meaning as in the Greek the physical. Seth did not come in the form or nature of Adam but in the nature of Abel. Adam nature was sin and he did not call on the name of the Lord. Able was righteous and Seth came after Able and this both came with the nature not of God but the nature or conforming to the image of God.
Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
These Gentiles are not coveted; they are not under the blood of Christ but by nature do things that are contained in the law. The word contain is added what this actually says is this of the law they are a law unto themselves. If they know not to steal and that they steal then they convict themselves. If they know not to steal and they do not sin then they are not charged. This shows the Holy Spirit working with all mankind and bringing us back to the garden and the Four River God sent to the earth outside the garden.
BAck to Satan he did not have to go into the garden and there was repentance for his sin of attacking the throne of God. The Bible shows all of the angels under his charge followed Satan to attack the throne but some did not go into the garden with Satan. The Bible speaks of these angles and shows there was repentance The Bible calls regeneration. Satan’s only way out was not just to try to kill all of mankind and Christ One of the God Head. He could have repented but he did not believe in the greatness of God and he believed that no man even in the form of God could go a life without Satan deceiving Christ to sin once. What Satan did not see in his arrogance was the nature of God. It is like a magnet and wood. It does not make a difference how strong the magnet is; it will not affect wood. That is the way the nature of God is not to obey the law. Their nature IS THE LAW. The lesson for man was not how great man can be. Armstrong claimed that God is reproducing Themselves they showed how far he was away from God. For God to reproduce Themselves that would have to start with Themself and that is what Christ purpose of coming to the earth to show man.
